TREND START-UP INNOVATIVE: I DATI DELL'ULTIMO TRIMESTRE


Il Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico ha pubblicato il rapporto trimestrale dedicato alle startup innovative, aggiornato al 1° luglio 2021, e che è frutto della collaborazione tra il Ministero e InfoCamere, con il supporto del sistema delle Camere di Commercio (Unioncamere). Questi i principali dati relativi all'ultimo trimestre disponibile, come riportati nel documento: Crescita della popolazione: le startup iscritte superano quota 13mila. Al 1° luglio 2021 se ne contano 13.582, il 3,6% di tutte le società di capitali di recente costituzione. Distribuzione territoriale: la Lombardia ospita oltre un quarto di tutte le startup italiane (26,7%). La sola provincia di Milano, con 2.545, rappresenta il 18,7% della popolazione, più di qualsiasi altra regione: superano quota mille il Lazio con 1.586, rappresenta l’11,7%, (in gran parte localizzate a Roma, 1.411, 10,4% nazionale) la Campania, con 1.205, 8,9% del totale nazionale e il Veneto con 1.095, 8,1%. L’Emilia Romagna è la nuova regione a superare quota mille, con 1.071 startup (7,9%). Tuttavia, la regione con la maggiore densità di imprese innovative è il Trentino-Alto Adige, dove circa il 6,0% di tutte le società costituite negli ultimi 5 anni è una startup. Forza lavoro: i soci di capitale dell’azienda, rispetto al trimestre precedente, sono sensibilmente aumentati (+9,5%) attestandosi ad oltre quota 65 mila. Elevata la rappresentazione di imprese fondate da under-35 (il 18,1% del totale), mentre risultano sotto rappresentate le imprese femminili: 12,9%, contro un 21,1% registrato nel complesso delle società di capitali. Fatturato: le startup innovative sono soprattutto micro-imprese, vantando un valore della produzione medio di poco inferiore a 171,7 mila euro. Ciò è anche dovuto al ricambio costante cui è soggetta questa popolazione: per definizione, le imprese “best-performer”, più consolidate per età e fatturato, tendono progressivamente a perdere lo status di startup innovativa. Investimenti e redditività: come fisiologico, le startup innovative mostrano un’incidenza più elevata della media di società in perdita (oltre il 52,3% contro il 32,3% complessivo). Tuttavia, le società in utile mostrano valori particolarmente positivi in termini di redditività (ROI, ROE) e valore aggiunto. Inoltre, le startup innovative presentano un tasso di immobilizzazioni – uno dei principali indicatori della propensione a investire delle aziende – di circa sette volte più elevato rispetto alle altre aziende comparabili.
