A novembre l'inflazione aumenta ancora, ma non è più solo questione di energia


A novembre l'inflazione tocca il 3,8% su base annua, riportando l'accelerazione dei prezzi al 2008. Non si placa la furia dell'indice dei prezzi al consumo che, anche a novembre, fa segnare una impennata. A dirlo è l'ultimo aggiornamento dell'Istat, cui stime fissano l'inflazione del penultimo mese dell'anno a +3,8% su base annua e a +0,7% rispetto a ottobre. La salita dell'indice dei prezzi al consumo non è una novità, è stato anzi il trend di questa seconda metà del 2021. Tuttavia il dato di novembre racchiude in sé alcune novità rilevanti da sottolineare. Non rappresenta certamente una di queste novità il prezzo dell'energia che resta la variabile responsabile di gran parte dell'aumento dell'indice. I beni energetici hanno fatto segnare un aumento del 30,7% rispetto a novembre 2020, quando in ottobre la variazione tendenziale si limitava a +24,9%. In questo ambito il dato di discontinuità con gli aggiornamenti precedenti è rappresentato dall'inversione di marcia della componente regolamentata passata da +42,3% a +41,8%. Consistente invece il salto dei prezzi della componente non regolamentata che in ottobre cresceva del 15,0%, diventato +24,3% a novembre. La vera novità, come anticipato, riguarda l'inflazione di fondo. Un indicatore fondamentale per comprendere l'andamento del paniere dei beni di largo consumo al netto dell'impennata del costo dell'energia che, fino all'aggiornamento di ottobre, poteva in parte ridimensionare il fenomeno inflattivo attualmente in corso. Con novembre la musica cambia: l'inflazione "core" è salita da +1,1% a +1,4%, a testimonianza del fatto che l'aumento dei prezzi delle materie prime si sta scaricando anche sui prodotti più comuni. Non a caso l'aumento dell'indice dei prezzi al consumo si compone di diverse voci: +7,9% per i beni energetici non regolamentati ma anche un +0,9% per gli alimentari lavorati e +1,4% per quelli non lavorati. L'aumento dei prezzi resta comunque principalmente circoscritto al mondo dei beni (+5,3% rispetto al 2020) più che a quello dei servizi (+1,7%). Il divario tra queste due componenti si è tra l'altro ampliato rispetto al mese di ottobre (da -2,9 a -3,6 punti percentuali). Istat commenta così: "Secondo le stime preliminari, a novembre, l'inflazione accelera nuovamente, portandosi a un livello che non si registrava da settembre 2008 e continuando a essere sostenuta soprattutto dalla crescita dei prezzi dei Beni energetici, con l'accelerazione della componente non regolamentata che segue quella della componente regolamentata registrata a ottobre. Le tensioni inflazionistiche, seppur in misura contenuta, si diffondono anche ad altri comparti merceologici, in particolare i Beni alimentari e i Servizi relativi ai trasporti, e l'inflazione di fondo sale a livelli che non si vedevano da marzo 2013".
