Inflazione mai così alta dal 1996: il prezzo dei beni energetici regolamentati sale del 94,6%


Non si ferma la corsa dei prezzi in Italia che nel mese di gennaio hanno registrato un nuovo picco. secondo le ultime rilevazioni dell'Istat, nel primo mese dell'anno l'indice dei prezzi al consumo è aumentato dell'1,6% su base mensile e del 4,8% rispetto allo stesso mese del 2021. Non si registrava un salto di questa portata addirittura dall'aprile 1996. A trainare l'aumento dei prezzi restano i beni energetici. Se questi ultimi nel mese di dicembre risultavano essere il 29,1% più alti rispetto all'anno precedente, nel mese di gennaio l'aumento è salito al 38,6%. Impressionante la dinamica della componente regolamentata, passata dal già +41,9% di dicembre ad un +94,6% a gennaio che non ha alcun precedente nella serie storica dell'Istat per violenza e velocità. I beni energetici non regolamentati si limitano - per così dire - ad un +22,9% che tuttavia non permette di certo di far rientrare l'aumento dei prezzi. Così come nei precedenti aggiornamenti, l'aumento dell'indice dei prezzi al consumo ha toccato anche altre voci, non limitandosi all'universo dell'energia. I beni alimentari non lavorati hanno accelerato l'aumento dei prezzi da +2,3% a +3,6%. L'inflazione di fondo, quella che esclude dal conteggio componenti volatili come energia e alimentari freschi, resta comunque stabile a +1,5%. Suddividendo l'indice dei prezzi al consumo per tipologia di spesa, solo due componenti registrano una riduzione rispetto a gennaio 2021: quello dell'istruzione a -0,5% e quello delle comunicazioni a -4,1%. Tutte le altre voci, va da sé, sono invece in aumento. La spesa per "abitazione, acqua, elettricità e combustibili" sale del 22,7%, quella dei trasporti (strettamente collegata all'aumento della spesa per i carburanti) del 7,8%. Rilevante anche l'aumento dei servizi ricettivi e di ristorazione (+4,3%) e i prodotti alimentari e bevande analcoliche (+3,6%). L'aumento del 4,8% dell'indice dei prezzi al consumo di gennaio è per gran parte legato ai beni, che da soli costituiscono oltre il 4% di variazione complessiva. Di questo 4%, il 2,16% deriva dai beni non regolamentati (più precisamente l'energia) e un altro 1,89% dai beni energetici regolamentati. Altro elemento da sottolineare è che l'1,76% della variazione è riconducibile a prodotti ad alta frequenza di acquisto, quindi di uso comune e quotidiano. Aspetto che porta le famiglie ad essere colpite interamente da questa fiammata dell'inflazione (i beni a bassa frequenza si limitano a costituire un aumento dello 0,22%. "L'inflazione a gennaio registra una forte accelerazione, raggiungendo un livello (+4,8%) che non si registrava da aprile 1996, quando il NIC registrò la medesima variazione tendenziale", il commento dell'Istat. "I Beni energetici regolamentati trainano questa fiammata con una crescita su base annua mai registrata, ma tensioni inflazionistiche crescenti si manifestano anche in altri comparti merceologici. Ciononostante, la componente di fondo, al netto di energetici e alimentari freschi conferma il dato di dicembre grazie anche al rallentamento dei prezzi dei Servizi relativi ai trasporti, i cui andamenti tendenziali sono ancora condizionati dalle limitazioni alla mobilità dovute alla pandemia".
