ANTIRICICLAGGIO: PUBBLICATO IL 1° QUADERNO 2020 DELL' UIF


L' Unità di Informazione Finanziaria della Banca d'Italia (UIF) ha pubblicato il 1° quaderno 2020 sull'attività in ambito antiriciciclaggio, relativo al primo semestre. Nel primo semestre del 2020 l'UIF ha ricevuto 53.027 segnalazioni di operazioni sospette, in aumento rispetto a quelle pervenute nel periodo corrispondente del precedente anno (+3,6 per cento) nonostante il prolungato periodo di lockdown e la successiva fase di incertezza legata alla progressiva ripresa delle attività; solo a marzo e maggio si è riscontrata una flessione rispetto ai corrispondenti mesi del 2019. L'incremento delle segnalazioni è essenzialmente riconducibile a banche e Poste; si osserva l'incremento delle segnalazioni relative a operazioni effettuate nel Lazio (da 4.905 del primo semestre 2019 a 6.759 di quello in esame), in Campania (da 6.455 a 7.078), in Puglia (da 3.017 a 3.292) e in Calabria (da 1.365 a 1.608), mentre registrano una contenuta diminuzione quelle relative alla Lombardia (da 9.980 a 9.235) probabilmente per effetto della più grave situazione che ha colpito la regione. Nel primo semestre del 2020 la collaborazione con l'Autorità giudiziaria è notevolmente aumentata rispetto al periodo corrispondente del precedente anno (+60,9 per cento): le richieste di informazioni ricevute sono state 272; la UIF ha inviato 536 note di risposta, comprensive dei seguiti rispetto a richieste avanzate prima del semestre di riferimento; le segnalazioni di operazioni sospette trasmesse sono state 1.254. Sono risultate in netto aumento le denunce di fatti con rilievo penale desumibili dalle SOS. Le richieste di informazioni a FIU estere, in progressivo aumento, sono state 623; la crescita è riconducibile prevalentemente all'acquisizione di dati per esigenze dell'Autorità giudiziaria. Sul totale di 53.037 SOS il 3% è pervenuta da Notai, lo 0,2% da Dottori Commercialisti - Esperti Contabili e Consulenti del Lavoro, il 3,% da altri professionisti.
