TRUFFE ONLINE: ALLARME UIF PER EMAIL FALSE CON USO IMPROPRIO DI NOME E LOGO


L'Unità di Informazione Finanziaria (UIF) segnala il verificarsi di recenti tentativi di truffa messi in atto attraverso l?"utilizzo indebito del nome, del logo della UIF e dei nominativi di suoi dipendenti.I messaggi fraudolenti, diffusi via email, hanno l?"obiettivo di indurre i destinatari a fornire dati personali o finanziari e/o a effettuare versamenti di denaro.  La UIF precisa di essere totalmente estranea a tali richieste, raccomandando agli utenti che ricevessero questo tipo di comunicazioni sospette, di: non rispondere alle email ricevute; non cliccare su link e non aprire eventuali allegati; cancellare immediatamente i messaggi; non fornire in alcun caso dati personali o finanziari sensibili; non effettuare pagamenti di alcun tipo; valutare la possibilità di presentare denuncia alle Autorità di pubblica sicurezza (Carabinieri, Polizia o Polizia Postale). L'autorità ricorda inoltre che la UIF non intrattiene rapporti con i privati cittadini e non richiede mai dati personali o sensibili tramite email, posta o telefono, né chiede pagamenti o avvia iniziative per il recupero di somme eventualmente versate. The data controller is Studio Dorighelli, who states that the data acquired in this manner will be handled as follows:

  • it will be used to comply with current requests for information/acquistion/registration until completed and for no other purpose.

  • it will be held on behalf of the Controller by KUMBE, the Controller’s maintainer for digital services, on the cloud server and related backup, in turn managed in compliance with the GDPR for the entire term of the contract with the Controller – who may dispose of it at any time – and until its subsequent cancellation.
  • it will not be assigned to third parties; it will not be used for marketing campaigns except if concurrently authorized for such purposes.
  • the user will have a profile created based pon the information contained therein and the data may be used for statistical processing.
