A luglio fatturato e ordinativi dell'industria rialzano la testa, ma la distanza dal 2019 resta ampia


Aumento in termini congiunturali, abisso guardando al tendenziale. Le ultime rilevazioni dell'Istat sul fatturato e gli ordinativi dell'industria confermano il trend già ravvisato nelle statistiche pubblicate precedentemente. Secondo l'indagine, il fatturato dell'industria a luglio ha fatto registrare un +8,1% rispetto al mese di giugno. Numero del tutto sovrapponibile a quello della produzione industriale dello stesso mese e già resa nota. Un dato che conferma la sostanziale ripresa delle attività economiche rispetto ai mesi del lockdown ma che se relazionato a quelli del 2019 lascia intravedere ancora una estrema distanza. Il fatturato totale dell'industria, infatti, anche incorporando l'aumento dell'8,1% rispetto al mese di giugno, risulta l'8,1% sotto i livelli fatti registrare nel luglio 2019. Un abisso che dà un altro significato al termine "rimbalzo": sì una inversione di tendenza rispetto allo stop repentino legato alle misure di prevenzione del Covid ma di certo non il recupero immediato di ciò che è andato perso. Un percorso che si presenta lungo e tortuoso. L'andamento del fatturato deve il suo incremento congiunturale sia alla componente interna sia alla componente estera, con una prevalenza della prima sulla seconda: +9,0% per il mercato nazionale e +6,5% per quello estero. Tornando al tendenziale, solo le attività estrattive risultano aver incrementato rispetto a luglio 2019 (+7,1%). Per le altre categorie regna il segno meno. L'industria tessile e dell'abbigliamento ha perso il 21,1%, i prodotti chimici l'11,4%, la metallurgia e i prodotti in metallo il 9,9% e le attività manifatturiere l'8,3%. Le categorie meno colpite, ma comunque in diminuzione, sono l'elettronica con -0,1%, l'industria alimentare con -1,0%, gli articoli in gomma con -2,6%, mezzi di trasporto con -4,2%, macchinari e attrezzature con -4,4% e il settore farmaceutico con -4,5%. In linea con i dati sul fatturato del mese di luglio, anche gli ordinativi hanno fatto registrare una ripresa seppur conservando la distanza con i dati del mese di luglio 2019. Gli ordinativi di luglio secondo Istat avrebbero fatto registrare un +3,7%. Un incremento ben inferiore a quello del fatturato e che negli ultimi tre mesi si concretizza in un +14,8%. L'indice grezzo degli ordinativi si è ridotto del 7,2% rispetto a luglio 2019, con una caduta equivalente tra il fronte interno (-7,0%) e quello estero (-7,4%). Nelle variazioni tendenziali degli ordinativi, tuttavia,si ravvisano dinamiche diverse tra categorie e categorie. L'industria tessile e dell'abbigliamento ha registrato un -17,8%, il settore dei computer e dell'elettronica un netto -15,6%, i prodotti chimici un -10,7% e la metallurgia -9,9%. "Prosegue la ripresa del fatturato dell'industria che, al netto dei fattori stagionali, segna risultati positivi sia nel confronto con il mese precedente, sia su base trimestrale. L'incremento è diffuso a tutti i principali raggruppamenti di industrie, ad eccezione di quello dell'energia, per il quale la variazione su base trimestrale rimane ancora negativa. Anche al netto della componente di prezzo, il settore manifatturiero registra un aumento congiunturale sia su base mensile sia su base trimestrale. La crescita registrata negli ultimi tre mesi riduce il gap rispetto ai livelli precedenti l'adozione delle misure di contenimento della pandemia, che tuttavia permane ancora ampio (-7,7% rispetto a febbraio, al netto della stagionalità)", il commento dell'Istat alla sua nota.
